Intersecting Art and Artifact from African American History
5/14/18
From the Social Justice Workshop Series – “Intersecting Art and Artifact from African American History,” this video compiles audio recordings by each teacher-artist to accompany the artwork they created in a drawing lesson led by artist Bruce Dean. Artworks were based on objects and images from “The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection” and the exhibit “How Sweet the Sound: Gospel Music in Los Angeles” at the California African American Museum (CAAM).
